The fourth round of the English Premier League will be opened with a very interesting match between Arsenal and Manchester City. The fans of the Gunners will have high expectations for Danny Wellbeck who is set to debut for his team today. Arsenal are still unbeaten in an official match this year, but already have quite a few draws. They beat Crystal Palace in the beginning of the league but then had two draws in a row against Everton and Leicester. The absentees for Arsenal today will be Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Serge Gnabry.
Manchester City started the Premier League season quite well beating Newcastle and Liverpool in the first couple of rounds. Then they were very surprisingly defeated by Stoke City at home in the last round. A couple of new signings for City might make their debuts today – Frank Lampard and Eliaquim Mangala. On the other hand, Steven Jovetic and Fernando will miss today’s clash.
The two teams already met this year – Arsenal beat Manchester City comfortably with 3-0 in the Community Shield. They have a great opportunity to do this again in front of their home crowd and prove that they are one of the main contenders for the title this year. I think this is a pretty even match-up, things could go either way, although I think Arsenal should be slight favourites. This makes a bet for Arsenal +0,25AH@1,83
